Once reviewed, please store it securely for future consultation. Recommendations: 1. MD720 is designed for outdoor use due to excessive indoor interferences. 2. When operating at higher sensitivity levels, the detector becomes more susceptible to electromagnetic interference. Lowering the sensitivity can help eliminate such disruptions.

During detection, ensure the search coil moves steadily. Keep the coil parallel to the ground and approximately 1/2 inch above the surface, avoiding swinging it like a pendulum. The depth reading is reliable for objects the size of a coin; however, larger or irregularly shaped items may affect accuracy. Valuable metal objects typically produce uniform signals; if the signal varies, it is likely a false reading.

To conserve energy and prolong battery life, the backlight will switch off after approximately 10 minutes, regardless of whether it is in use or on standby. The device will power off automatically after around 15 minutes in standby mode. If the P-P (pinpoint) mode malfunctions and sends a signal even when not near any metal, raise the detector in the air and press the P-P key button once to resolve the issue.
